Detail

ASP.NET Core web application to edit an image, add filters, change contrast, etc...

Design Description

The application is based on a simple Model View Component architecture:
• The model: Models\ImageModel.cs, contains all the image properties to be set/get.
• The view: Views\Home\Index.cshtml, contains Html and Javascript/JQuery commands.
• The Controller: Controllers\HomeControler.cs contains the image edition logic.

The edited image is rendered by a view component:
• Views\Shared\Components\EditedImage\Default.cshtml
• ViewComponents\EditedImageViewComponent.cs

This allows to reload only this view component, and not the entire view when a modification is done. The controller’s methods are called using JQuery (lower section of the “Index.cshtml” file) to allows only the partial view reload.
